I had a training partner once. We had a little circuit we used to do with a few sprints along the way.
I used to tuck in neatly as he slaved away in the wind and then flick him on our primes. Hands in the air. King of the world. You have to demoralise other riders at every opportunity so they KNOW you can beat them. You WILL defeat them.
I stopped working with him when he got sick and wanted me to do more turns. I’m not giving a wheel suck like that the chance to improve. Stuff that.
