On a freezing weekend morning motorcycle ride, I headed out into the south east Queensland bush to photograph bicycle trails. Round 4 of the 2013 Queensland Bicycle Trials Series at Rockatoo, near Esk, Queensland Australia. Held on the 18th August. With local and international riders competing, the rocky course along Esk Creek at Rockatoo is set amongst a stunning backdrop of tree lined hills. The weather was perfect and the talented trials riders, rolling rubber over stone put on a masterful performance. Two separate locations at Rockatoo provide different options for trials competition. The natural rocky creek adjacent a second course made up of old concrete pipes and logs surrounding an old car body. Enjoy the photoset.
